Little things

I know sometimes the standard weight loss advice can seem so overused, but the little things really are so important when it comes to creating big change.

Like Eating breakfast.

Getting in 8 glasses of water a day.

Going for walks.

Writing down what you eat.

Meal planning.

Making time for the gym.

Getting 7-9 hours of sleep every night.

Here’s why:
When you do the “little things” every day, you’re focused on your health every day. It’s not so much that without one of these you can’t lose weight or can’t be healthy, but when you’re working on pounding those glasses of water, you’ll be less likely to take a slice of cake at the office party.

Making time to fit in these so-called rules of weight loss is just another way of showing yourself that you deserve health.

Those directives show up on every weight loss advice column ever written because they work. They work to remind you that self love should fill every part of your day.
